TribeAgency is built on a solid foundation of integrity and ideals. Through this
foundation, we have amassed a team of gifted, caring individuals, and as a group, we
have strived to bolster our involvement in charitable events throughout the community,
in addition to devoting ourselves to our work.
TribeAgency has contributed to numerous worldwide charities and countless local benevolences.
What follows is a select list of the causes and events that we feel best helped all parties
involved—our beneficiaries and ourselves.
AIDSWalk aims to raise financial resources to support a wide range of HIV services
and to mobilize a dynamic response to the AIDS epidemic.
We supported our staff with pledges and by allowing paid time off for volunteering efforts.
The Colorado Rapids Community Care Foundation
, Denver, CO
The CRCCF encourages underprivileged children to participate in group activities, such as
soccer, as a means of building character, improving self-esteem, and developing
interpersonal and leadership skills.
We have made monetary donations to the cause, and we participated in the first annual
Community Care Golf Retreat at the Hemmingway Golf Course.
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
(www.cff.org)
The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to assure the development of the
means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for
those with the disease.
We gathered and donated prizes to CFF's annual fundraising pool tournament and
auction. We also participated in the tournament, willingly sharpening our pool skills,
and actively bidding on items at the auction.
FireWorks for Kids is the charitable foundation of the Major League Soccer team Chicago
Fire, which is focused on increasing educational and recreational opportunities for
children throughout Chicago and its surrounding communities.
We have worked in tandem with the Chicago Fire to raise funds and bolster awareness of
FireWorks for Kids. To further this generous cause, we developed an online auction of
Fire memorabilia and participated in their annual Golf Retreat–the proceeds from both
projects went to the FireWorks for Kids foundation. Over $130,000 was raised last year
for the foundation.
Dedicated to the beautification of the City, Chicago Gateway Green is a non-profit
organization founded in 1986. With the ongoing support of Mayor Richard M. Daley,
and Governor Rod R. Blagojevich, Gateway Green continues to enhance landscaping in
the Chicagoland area, with a focus on beautifying the "gateways" of the city. The
organization works with the city and state to spearhead the Expressway Partnership,
a public/private program to transform roadways into parkways. Due to its success,
the Expressway Partnership has become the landscape into which proceeds from
Gateway Green's fundraising initiatives are seeded. Moreover, hundreds of
volunteers annually dedicate their time to augment and support these collective
efforts.
We are proud to support the outstanding beautification and community enhancement work
of Gateway Green in our corporate headquarters home city. TribeAgency partners with
Gateway Green to deliver all their traditional and digital advertising collateral for
their two largest fund raising events, the summer festival Heat and their gala black
tie event the Green Tie Ball.
Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
(www.komen.org)
The Komen Race for the Cure series has become the largest series of 5K runs/fitness
walks in the world. The Komen Foundation's mission is to eradicate breast cancer as
a life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening and treatment.
We decided to walk together as a team for this excellent cause, in the process learning
more about this disease and how it affects women and men, as well as their loved ones.
The entire experience, from collecting pledges to walking and talking with others at the
event, allowed us to emotionally and physically band together with an amazing group of
people in the unyielding battle against breast cancer.
The United Way utilizes community resources to focus on problems and issues, enabling them
to invest strategically in local solutions. United Way's Community Fund works with over 400
local health and human service agencies, ensuring that people find the help they need.
Our desire to give back to the community generated a perfect partnership with United Way.
We designed and developed the website for the United Way of Chicago, which cultivates the
start of new crusades in addition to energizing existing campaigns, keeping interested
parties informed of their activities. By working with United Way, we were able to do what
we do best and apply that to a charitable cause.
